LIFT THOSE LOCKDOWN BLUES

Lockdown can be a troubling time for many, but those of us with classic motor vehicles can bring a little sparkle to folks out and about on essential business.

The method is simple; by making our own essential journeys using our ancient crocks, the resultant sightings of obsolete transport will punctuate the otherwise dreary winter gloom with a momentary diversion down memory lane, or at least onto Google to find out exactly what that machine was.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with using a classic vehicle for such journeys, just as long as it’s in decent order and unlikely to result in a breakdown recovery becoming necessary. 

After all, we wouldn’t want to increase others’ exposure to our petroleum perfumes, would we?

Other benefits of using older transport include helping to keep the old things in good order and that goes for the cars and bikes also.
